maple-cinnamon pumpkin dip

1 (8 oz.) pkg. light cream cheese, softened
1 cup canned pumpkin
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
fruit skewers, sliced apples, sliced pears, gingersnaps (optional)
in a large bowl and using an electric hand mixer at medium speed, beat together cream cheese, pumpkin and brown sugar.
add maple syrup and cinnamon; beat until smooth.
cover and chill at least 30 minutes.
if desired, serve with fruit skewers, apples, pears and gingersnaps for dipping.
